CRAFTY MATTERS CELEBRATION PLATES

For the past few years, my plates have been in retirement, but its now time to dust off some old Original Designs and add some New Designs for those of you looking for a special gift for friends or something unique for your own children.

The designs you see on a CRAFTY MATTERS CELEBRATION PLATE depict happy children dressed in their favourite outfits, or DRESS UPS. As you browse the different categories, you will see plates in different colour combinations, and you may find yourself liking a design on one plate,yet preferring the colours in another plate- What to you do? Can you combine the two to create your own plate? the answer is yes! I am more than happy to consult with you and customize the plate to suit your requirements as much as possible. You can also further customize a plate by supplying me with the hair colour and style of the child the plate is for (please remember- it will be a likeness, not a portrait)

I can also add a message on the back to complete the personalized plate. ie: welcome to the world!

CRAFTY MATTERS CELEBRATION PLATES are created on earthenware ceramic plates, formed in a mould. The design is painted and the plate is then fired to a bisque (hard) state. The plate is then glazed and fired again to produce the glossy hard wearing surface of a finished piece.

These plates are designed to be used in your home as a Decorator piece either hung on a wall, or displayed on a shelf as a memento, however they are painted and glazed with food safe materials, so can also be used at meal times if you wish. The ceramic is very durable- but, yes it can break if, say it fell off a table!!
