2007

Crafty Matters Ceramics was started in 1997 at a time when I was looking for a change in career. Initially I developed a range of Personalized plates, that i sold at Markets and through Party Plan in Melbourne, Australia.

Fast forward to 2005 , and I had become a wife to Alister, and mum to Chloe and Luke, which was keeping me very busy, and I had also developed a love of scrapbooking.

I started combining a few small ceramic pieces into my scrapbooking, which then developed into a range of embellishments sold in 2 wonderful scrapbooking stores- Scraptacular and Simply Scrapbooking.

This Blog has been developed to show the many ways you can use my embellishments, and you can even design your very own pieces (conditions apply), as well as purchase kits or other items from the range.

From time to time, new information will be added , with an update directing you to the new items at the front of the blog

As for the plates, well, they are on hold at the moment- but perhaps when the kids start school……………. :)

WOW!

It has been an eventful 1st year at Crafty Matters with the advent of this blog a year ago, I have seen my little embellishments grace the pages of many magazines, blogs and websites. they have been sold in shops (bricks and mortar and online) and used in kits by Kim Archer @ Home and Funkstreet Designs

I have had the most wonderful, professional team of girls supporting me - Mardi, Charm, Lou and Vita- and until recently Katie- have provided so much inspiration each month for the Show and Tells, they have inspired me as well as everyone else who visits this blog.

So this year has seen me come full circle, and i am re introducing the Celebration Plates. As well as many Original Designs i have added some new ones that have evolved as a result of now having my own children and observing their’s and their friends interests.

I hope you like them. You can read all about them here
