well, Im back!
And while i was away, Katie created 3 layouts using Crafty matters products.
The first 2 show you that the chicks arent just for easter Layouts. Arent they gorgeous ![]()
love the little tag around the chicks neck on hello chooky!
This next layout shows that flowers arent just for girls! And Katie is an expert at incorporating a flower or 2 into a boys layout- love the boyish brad ind the twine
in fact i loved it so much I HAD to scraplift 9with Katies permission of course,

Yesterday was the demonstration at Scraptacular, and I had alot of fun showing their customers techniques to use on the embellishments to make them a little more unique. I plan to put these techniques on the site as soon as i can too- stay tuned.
And a BIG thankyou to Charmane for helping me out on the day- thank goodness you came, as it got a little hectic every now and then.
thanks for dropping by
cheers

MEET THE ‘CMC’ GIRLS
May 11, 2007 at 10:13 pm | In CMC | 2 CommentsI realized about a week ago, that if I wanted to showcase my ceramic embellishments, as well as manufacture them, I needed help!!
So, after a number of emails (and thankfully all yes’s) I am really pleased to introduce to you my CMC’s (crafty matters contributors)
Ive asked the girls to contribute to a monthly update where we will show off new products, revisit old ones, and give you some tips on how to make the most of the ceramics I make.
It goes without saying (but i will say it anyway) that these girls are all incredibly talented, and bring their own individual and unique styles to the team.
so, without further ado- here they are
CHARMANE KOCH
HI! I’m Charmane, Mum to two adorable kids – Chei aged 3 and Harmony aged 1! I have a gorgeous partner, who lucky for me – is a Photographer!!! I have been scrapbooking for 3 years – and as the years pass, my passion for Scrapbooking grows!!! I love it for a creative outlet for me, being a Stay at Home Mum, also the friends I’ve met and also the SHOPPING!!!
I absolutely ADORE Crafty Matters Ceramics and can’t wait to have a play and show them off on my layouts/projects!!!
Katie is wife to Brett, and mumma to 2 gorgeous boys, Liam and Ethan. As well as looking after her family, she is fabulous with a camera, and has her own photography business- Katie Toland Photography.
Her layouts make the most of her photos-she loves a bit of ‘Shabby chic’ style , is a whiz at incorporating flowers in her boys pages, and has been published many times .
Lou’s family is made up of her DH, Guy, and their girls Charlotte almost 5 , and Ashlan 9.
She is a kinder teacher, and also Teaches at Simply Scrapbooking in Eltham ( i have heard her classes are a hoot!)
Lou has been published in a number of Scrapbooking magazines, and is the other fastest scrapper i know
MARDI WINEN
![]()
My name is Mardi Winen and I live in the Riverland region of SA.
I am married to Ian with three teenagers…Brent 18, Mitchell 16 and Briony 13.
I work fulltime, study, keep the house clean and taxi service the kids to sport ect…and every other minute of the day is filled with something scrapbook related…lol
I was introduced to scrapbooking a couple of years ago when Briony was given a kit for christmas. I visited a scrapbook store to replenish her kit and was immediatly hooked. I now scrap almost every day, loving to use bright colours, negative space and journalling. Ooohhh…. and I have made the most wonderful friends in the online community.
I am honoured to be a CMC…. Janes ceramic embellishments are so easy to use…… and I love reaching for my stash of Craft matters embellishments to find the perfect little word or shape to complete my layout.
(Mardi created that great layout in the last post)
Hi, there… My name is Vita Thai. I am 35 years old, living in Dandenong North, VIC and married with 2 kids, Amanda (9) & Riley (3). I am a SAHM (Scrapbooking At Home Mum). The mum bit has been for 9 years, but the scrapbooking bit has only been for 3 years. I started as a paper scrapper, but since late 2006 has ventured into digital scrapbooking. I am mostly known through my digital work, although I actually still enjoy both paper & digi format. I am very thrill to be part of Craftymatters, as I have always been a fan of Jane’s ceramic embellishments. I am looking forward to grow together with Craftymatters.
We are aiming to have our first monthly update on June the 5th, so make sure you visit, to see what the girls come up with.
cheers
